What we do, simply

At Elementary Holdings we believe the power to make positive change comes from having a tool kit of skills and recognising the situations in which you need to apply them.  It is not a formula; our services start with you, where you are at and building from there.

Debra Farrelly

Educator | Conflict Coach | Consultant

Hi, I’m debra farrelly.

Who would have thought that someone can enjoy a career in educational administration? Well I know you can, because I have more than 30 years’ experience in the education sector in administration and leadership.  For most of my career I have worked in Australian universities holding senior leadership and executive positions in Student Services and Corporate Services divisions before moving into my own consulting business and gaining accreditation in mediation and conflict coaching.

Outside of my work I have enjoyed being a part of netball.  My involvement initially was on court as a member of the Australian National Pool of Umpires (AA umpire) and International Netball Umpire (IUA) and later stemmed into working on strategic committees as well as education programs and assessments.  In 2021 I was engaged by Netball Australia to identify and develop Australia’s high performance umpires.

I would like to think that my calm and consultative manner is highly effective in dealing with situations, issues and people. I am committed to continuous process improvement and dedicated to ensuring individuals and teams deliver quality services by “doing the simple things well”. Working with people to achieve this is what I like to do.
